Birthday card drawing

I haven't done a drawing (or mental landscape) in  a long time, but I really wanted one as a birthday card for my husband this week. We both really enjoyed it so I did a scrapbook layout with it. Hidden in the design are the words "Happy Birthday" and his new age.

Getting Creative with an Azalea

An Oscraps challenge for a creative technique is a pretty close fit to my change to an azalea photo for one of my weekly pages.

I went from the above to this:
For the azalea photo (using PSP) did a high pass sharpen and then did a posterize giving this brighter look as the original just didn't look right on the page.
