The rest of January in photos

Week 3 pairs with the already posted week 2 in blues while weeks 4 and 5 appear in black and white. It has been a time of lots of weather contrasts. It's also been a time of interesting and rewarding times. Click on the images to see them larger and perhaps read about the days of January.

  1. What I particularly like about all your layouts is the apparent effortless way you combine backgrounds and elements from various kits to create something uniquely your own. Your winter journal is both informative and beautiful. That dead tree makes a wonderful centrepiece in the first page. And the snow drift in the second page makes quite a stunning contrast to the gaily coloured flowers above it. The same applies to the warm glow of the lamp contrasting with the chilly icicles and the other frigid scenes. By the way, I love the photo of that fluffed up little bird! He´s not the only one stoically waiting for spring.
