Violets in the Grass

The violets in the grass keep expanding and are in both the front and back yards. We love them and hate to see them go when the grass is cut, but it has been so wet Dick hasn't cut it recently so yesterday I got some nice photos. I thought they were apt for an Emily Dickinson quote I needed to scrap for a challenge.

  1. It´s always so exciting to find something as tiny and perfect as your pretty little violets half hidden in the grass like a floral treasure trove. The quote is very apt and I like the way you´ve repeated the most important word throughout. Your page is a lovely memory of spring and a reminder to cherish the "now".

  2. Ohhhh...I love this. The colors are wonderful together. The violets are lovely and the quote perfect. I would kill for your grass. Very little of ours came back and the yard is full of holes dug by the armadillas and skunks!

  4. btw, I was looking through all the pages from you that I saved for future reference, and I have a winter and a fall page from you with the climbing clematis, but I must have missed the blooming page! I would like to make a request to see your clematis in bloom. I was sure I had gotten all of your nature pages! Maybe you could repost it here? :)
