A Big Week in May

Both ends of week 21 were important days for me embracing genealogy and art. I'm certainly enjoying the comfortable weather too. The new Grant Deming Artist show has mostly new pieces. Mine were done last fall and are now named "Berries of the Asteroids" and Wandering in the Orchard."

  1. Great layout - you sure had an eventful week! Hope the art show went well and I'm looking forward to future pictures of baby robins.

  2. I saw the photos posted on Facebook for your new art show... I hope you are having fun. I'm just getting back to painting again. Matthew is home for the summer and taking a class once a week at a local college. I wait the three hours for him (to avoid waisting gas in the car), so I take a sketch book and find a nice shady spot to do a little painting or drawing. I hope to have something to share soon... :)

  3. What a wonderful memory page this is to look back on in winter, it´s so full of summer, flowers, art and, of course, both ornithology and genealogy. I like the way you´ve used colour in the text and shaped it so cleverly around the photos. And the cameo is such a good idea. How intricate this is. Every time I look at it I see something new.
