Lovely Memory in March

The memory is a simple one of time spent together enjoying the world around us. This photo was taken by Dick when we had a small flock of Cedar Waxwings feeding low. The page design is based on a "web inspiration" challenge. This was at the same time as the raccoon looking out its hole in the tree.

  1. What a wonderful photo...this bird is awesome. Looks like it has something in common with your recent subject the raccoon...a very distinctive mask. And other markings are delightful...the yellow tips on the tail feathers are really eye-catching. That quote is wonderful and one I want to remember!

  2. Wow... fantastic photo! What a fabulous quote! Wonderful addition to your bird book! I really like your choice to use the little yellow flower to bring out the yellow in the feathers! Great job!

  3. This is really beautiful, both the bird and the page he graces, and a spectacular example of the "less is more" maxim. I really like the way you´ve used so very few elements and relied more on the fonts and the bird himself to make an impact. It certainly works very well. This has got to be one of my favourites.
