Spring and a guitar photo

Can you believe this weather? It would be really nice a month from now. Somehow I haven't been out shooting the daffodils, but I did get to take a couple of shots of Dick on Friday. The guitar and ukulele group's teacher was scheduled for a sing-along at the senior center. She asked members of the group to join her during it for a medley (and to promote the group.) Dick with his guitar and two others with ukuleles joined her for it. We had a really fun time and kept having to bring in more chairs for late arrivals. This week's AnnaLift inspiration looked perfect to me for one of the photos and I love the result.

  1. A very cool layout in every respect. I love the subtle colours and the textured background particularly. Altogether a lovely page by which to remember an enjoyable evening.

    I wish I´d been there. I don´t think I´ve ever heard a ukelele.

  2. I am loving the weather we are having! I wouldn't mind a bit if it stayed like this all summer! Wonderful page to remember your evening at the sing along. Glad to hear you had a great time. Love the brushes and photo mask you used. Great page! :)

  3. Oh...I love this, especially the photo. Nice touch to add the date in the swirl. Sounds like a fun time for everyone present. Don't you just love it when people just impromptu start playing together. And I do know the sound of a ukelele both the happy up beat sound and the soft and sentimental sound. Perhaps we need to find the sound online for Helen.
