Week of the Polar Vortex

The first full week of January brought extremely cold weather, our official low both Monday and Tuesday down to -11 F. Then of course it warmed up and Saturday we went above 50 F. Always something different.

    I don´t envy you that cold spell at all though you seem to have made the most of it. I´d rather be indoors doing a jigsaw puzzle than outdoors doing anything at all! I´m glad you did venture out though because that photo of the turkey is beautiful. What a lucky shot. Just a few more steps and he´d have been practically invisible next to the tree.
