Back in the Snow!

It really isn't rare to get big snows this time of year, but we sure weren't wanting more of the white stuff! It did create interesting photo ops though. Here is my 4th scraplift of the month with today's pictures.

  1. Heavens, what a shocker! Hope you get your drive cleared before you get cabin fever. The snow does make pretty patterns though and your line of snowbirds looks quite chirpy.
Yesterday morning we heard our resident thrush for the first time this year. He still hasn´t the repertoire his predecessor had but he´s improved a lot since last year and puts even the blackbird in the shade.

  2. I hope all that white stuff is gone for you now. We have a couple of "piles" left after plowing/blowing. Of course, one of the piles is right on top of where my crucus are planted! But hopefully it will be gone by the end of the week. I really like the way your page came out, you got some great shots of the snow! I am looking forward to seeing those spring time photos from you! I like that you included the current events in your journaling. The poor people of Japan... what a heartbreak to see all that they are having to deal with. My friend Jan's daughter lives in Japan... she and her fiance are going to be moving back here in May, and it won't be a moment too soon! Jan is so worried.

  3. One thing for sure, the snow has given you some amazing fantasy-like scenes to enjoy. This snow must have had no wind whatsoever. The soft piles of snow stacked high on everything is lovely. The squirrel seems to be enjoying it's scampering along the rail. How 'bout the basketball net...first for me to see one filled with snow! Looks like Dick is getting plenty of exercise this winter just keep the drive shoveled...LOL! Guess we will see...there has been snow here at Easter, though it doesn't seem as if that will happen this year as we are having highs of 85-88 degrees the past week and same for the coming week.
