Last Heat of Summer

During the week, on the 13th, we went out to enjoy what promised to be the last hot day of summer. It was really nice out and notable around the Lake View ponds were lots of dragonflies. I managed to get decent photos of one, a Blue Dasher. I love the challenge of photographing dragonflies! The page done with it is a scraplift for a new designer at Oscraps.

  1. I know what you mean about the challenges of photographing a dragonfly... I have lost the battle every time I have tried! You got a great shot! I love your scrapbook page! I love the artistic elements! This looks like a painting! Great blending! Fantastic job Jean!

  2. I have tried so many times to photograph a dragonfly. Decided it was impossible. Looks like you did the impossible here. Love how you blended the photo. In fact the background looks like it has been stamped onto the page and the dragonfly is flying past the LO and isn't actually in the photo. The swirls give great motion to the page and the white paint-like doodle behind seems like ripples in water. Love how this turn out!
