Fall Blooming Bushes

Last week we were delighted with bushes in Lake View that were in full bloom even though their leaves were turning color. The flowers looked much paler and prettier up close. We had frost Saturday morning, but not a freeze, so they're probably still fine. I used some photos of them for my first challenge for November, this one a copycat or template challenge.

  1. What a pretty page for the pretty blooms! It really amazes me to see spring colors in the fall, what an unexpected delight! Your page is full of wonderful delights too! Great choice of elements! :)

  2. So pretty! I really like the colors and their relationship to each other. The swirl overlay and the pearl-like element are great additions!

  3. Ohhhh...I love all the blocks surrounding your featured photo and then the title on top of the blocks. Relieved when I read it was a template. Those blocks would be quite a task. Although, it reminds me of a CT LO I did using Theta's May Flowers kit...only I just had 9 blocks with featured photo centered on top of them.

  4. This is gorgeous! It´s like some exotic floral quilt and looks even more spectacular seen close up.
What a wonderful colourful autumn we´re both having. My angel´s trumpet is still blooming as are a couple of primroses which apparently mistake the unseasonable season for spring.
