A Philbrook Moment

I participated in a chat and associated scraplift the other day. Hadn't done that in about a year I think. It was fun and the design we were using seemed perfect for one of my photos from the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa. I always take lots of photos when we visit the gardens there. Four of us went  this time and I like the resulting page with the other three. It isn't a design I would ever have dreamed up on my own, but it is excellent.

  1. Interesting composition. It looks like you had a beautiful day for your trip to the museum. Great lighting on your photograph.

  2. It is a most unusual composition but I think it works well with your photo. The colours and the lovely blue in that butterfly perched on the frame make me feel nostalgic for summer.

  3. I agree with you...I wouldn't have ever come up with the composition either. However, it is perfect for a LO that the descriptive journaling about the photo was the main feature!

  4. I think your composition works particularly well with the architectural elements of your photograph. I think your photograph is fantastic, and I agree with Helen, your page does make me nostalgic for summer, especially now that all the leaves have fallen off the trees in the woods behind the house, and the sky is cloudy and gray today.
