Old Photo and Special Memories

Last month I visited relatives I had not seen in forever. I got to copy (with my digital camera) a lot of things of my late aunt's. She was a special person and also the keeper of family history. One of the great things I saw was a photo of her and two distant relatives whom I vaguely remember seeing. It is such a special picture and I used it in this week's scraplift. It is making me smile each time I look at it!

  1. How interesting that you have a professional genealogist in your family. I wonder if this was just a coincidence or if this influenced you at all.

I like your use of the time element in your page and the twig with the three branches is a nice metaphor.

  2. So you are from a line of genealogists! That is so cool! I bet your relatives would have loved digital scrapbooking and what a wonderful job you have done on your family heritage pages. I love the way you personalized your journaling about the photograph, it's always great when you have a past with the people and can do that... names, dates, places and facts are great, but I love the personal reflections of the author the best. Your page turned out great. I love the colors, elements and papers you chose were just perfect!
