80th Birthday

My sister had a lovely 80th birthday party on Sunday though her birthday wasn't until Tuesday. One of the collections of photos on display included an early picture of us and our brother. His son got a nice picture of the three of us again. This time my sister got to be the little one as she was sitting down. I think by looking closely you can see we still have a bit of the same look now as then. Amazing how time does fly!

  1. What a stroke of luck that all 3 of you managed to get together for such a special occasion so that you could have your photo taken again. Showing both makes this page very special. I love your use of my Shabby Chic kit, especially the curtain behind the frame and the way you´ve positioned the older photo above the shelf with the rocking horse underneath. A unique example of how the kit can be used for more traditional layouts and another for my Favourites. Thank you, Jean.

  2. How happy all three of you were able to be together for this 80th celebration! The curtain feature really caught my eye...seems to say "presenting the three of us"! Awesome use of Shabby Chic Rooms, Part 3!

  3. Happy Belated Birthday to your Sister! How wonderful that you were all able to be together to celebrate her special day! You should have the page printed and send it to both of you siblings. What a treasure! I've always printed my pages with my laser printer, but after seeing how my Christmas Card turned out, I am thinking about having some of my favorites printed out at the photo center at a local drug store where I got my cards printed out. Your page turned out great!
