Doodle #4: The Samurai

The latest doodle looks a lot like #3 in some ways, but looks more contained and definitely shows some aggression. When it was done and I looked at it the title, The Samurai, jumped out at me. You can find all sorts of other things in the details though. The next one is in the works and it might look at least a little different.

  1. Oh I like this, and can definitely understand the title of The Samurai for this one! I do see an owl... and he doesn't look all the friendly either. Were you watching a football game while you were doing this? :)

  2. If you hung this one on the wall it would follow you around the room, it has so many eyes in it. Not very friendly eyes either! I can understand why you chose the title but Deb´s reference to football completely escapes me.

  3. Well, the drawing has aggression in it, I thought perhaps she was watching a bunch of men pushing each other around. :)

  4. How funny about the football! Really all my drawings are done in more than one "sitting" so the mental landscape changes. And I watch as little football as possible though Dick is the opposite.

  5. Jeff is always watching either football or baseball on tv. If I am in the room, I am doing something else... but you can still hear all the crashing and crunching of men, not to mention the roars of the crowds, you would think they were at a "Bull" fight! ... oh wait... that's basketball isn't it? ROFL! Sorry, I couldn't resist... I get that from my Dad. :)

  6. Love how you are framing your doodles...perhaps you need to print them all and hang then on the wall.
